DJ Chalant is a Music Enthusiast, DJ, and Producer.

Born and raised in Washington D.C.

Chalant is known for a style that’s equal parts cool, fun, and high-energy, with a natural ability to move a crowd in any setting. His DJ sets reflect that personality, blending upbeat party anthems across various genres into seamless, crowd-driven experiences.

In addition to private and corporate events and weekly club residencies throughout the Washington, D.C. area, DJ Chalant is rapidly expanding his presence in the sports world. He currently serves as the official in-arena DJ for the Washington Capitals, as well as performing with Washington Wizards, and George Mason Patriots.

Chalant is a multi-hyphenate creative who has planted seeds in different realms within the media and entertainment industry.

Chalant began Djing after becoming influenced by the history the “DeeJay” played in the creation of Hip-Hop culture, and after witnessing a live DJ set by the legendary “DJ Premier” while attending a beatmaking convention in NYC. “I just got really inspired to try it (DJing)”. “ I was already a rapper, and a producer, so at first learning to DJ was something I wanted to do strictly for fun”. Chalant began spinning house and block parties in the neighborhood. This soon led to him and a group of friends organizing and hosting parties at small bars and lounges in DC.
